This project was created for a simple reason: high-quality stock photos of Black women with locs are still surprisingly hard to find in free image libraries that small businesses, nonprofits, creators, and community groups rely on every day.We believe representation shapes who gets seen, supported, and taken seriously. That's why we brought together three incredible women to step in front of the camera and expand what's available in free stock libraries. So Black-centered work can show up online with care, with confidence, and with visuals that match the quality of the message.

How photos were used

A selection of edited photos were uploaded to reputable free stock image libraries for creative and commercial use. As a thank you to the models, stylists, and photographers who donated their time and resources to make this happen, unpublished photos were shared with them to use however they wished.See the collection on:
